Regina to Argentina

Just got back to Regina, ready to hit the road but the weather has got me stuck in my tracks. Looking for an inexpensive ride further down south. Does anyone have any ideas or tips for me? I got a DR650 so a truck would do fine if thats what you got...

Also if anyone wants to meet up somewhere down the road id be into it. I don't have any plans other than head south, camp as much as possible and skate.

A mixup in comunication. We paid $100 us dollars for a mechanic to be at the airport to take 2 bikes apart if need be and sure enough they came apart to check for contraban. Tanks off , air filters apart, and a thorough snoop in our stuff.Seems the cost was 200,000 pesos. I paid with a us 100 dollar bill ( 180,000 pesos)and it was directly accepted by the mechanic. He was very happy it seemed but can not cash it anywhere . He now says he thought it was a tip and is holding the guy that helped us out and set everything up responsible. Sending the bill here is immposible due to the mail service in Columbia and I dont want to pay again until I have the bill back so until I get to continue my trip down there at least i can try and get the 20,000 paid to the guy that set things up for us as he bent over backwards to help us out. I still have some pesos.
Nothing clandestine, but non the less I feel a debt to be rectified at least partially if possible. You are close by. Not a biggy if you decide not to take this mission. The pay will be the same.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
