Riding Central Asia from Iran to Tk, Uz, Kg, Kz and back west via Russia
Dear travelers and interested readers,
I am currently in Tehran, enjoying the time here very much while surviving Ramadan. Planning to stay couple of days more before continuing the journey through Central Asia route.
Rough schedule according to existing Visa:
Iran -> Turkmenistan 27 June 2016
Turkmenistan -> Uzbekistan 30 June +- one day
Uzbekistan -> Kirgistan or Kazakhstan by 7 July the latest
Kazakhstan -> Russia 11 August towards Novosibirsk
Leaving Russia 08 September
Does anybody happen to be traveling along these places and times? It would be amazing to join up and ride together for part of the way.
Looking forward to hearing from you, Julian

We are currently in northern Russia. We will be riding down and east slowly to the Altay.
I plan to cross Kazakh via the Shemonaika border, late July to early August, toward Kyrgyz then explore the back roads of Kyrgyz a bit and try Tajikistan if we have time.
If you are going the other way we might meet few of you on the way.
Cheers,

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
