Hi Uli
We stayed in Casa Cristina and the lady who runs the hotel let us park our bike at her house around the corner (very secure)
If you are looking for budget accommodation then try El Hostal. They let you park your bike securely in the entrance (locking doors at night).
We've just left and are in Honduras so might see you on the way (we're on the same boat as you)
Cheers
Dan

There are plenty of places in Antigua, but El Hostel on the east side of town on 1 Av is pretty nice and easy on the budget. If you get into town, there are plenty of bikers around. I am here for a few more days too.

Good morning everyone,
thanks for the hints - i will move into direction of Antigua now and will check out your tips - I do also plan a visit to the moto cafe
Look out for a Triumph Tiger - with huge side and top boxes in grey.

Lucky

I checked out both Casa Christina and El Hostal and decided for El Hostal - there a lot of traverls around and the place is funny.
Though Casa Christina left a very good impression as well.
Thx for the tips.
Cheers,
Uli

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
