San Francisco, CA to Bogota Colombia summer of 2005
Hey everyone!
Planning a trip from San Francisco to Bogota, Colombia and back. For next summer, that is 2005, travel dates are not exact. Between the months of june and august I am Colombian and I am going down there to visit friends and spend a really good time.
Anybody up for it? half of it? a third of it?

Hi,
I live in SF too and am planning a trip from Alaska to Argentina starting in June 2005.
I will be driving between Mexico and Colombia around August.
Cheers,

Hey Anne!
Most likely I will be on my way up in august, but we can always cross paths. This is my first big trip overland. I crossed the states, and i went to china and travelled there. But nothing like what i am about to do. If you live in sf, i would appreciate, if you have time, some tips and advice and probably some good routes through central america. What bike are you doing ur trip on?
thanks for the help

I have many things prepared already and I am ready to share everything. I have been working in Belize Guatemala in 1999 so I know many tips.
Let's meet around a fresh soon.

I'm also planning to ride south for 3 months this summer - kinda last minute but I'll be at Zeitgeist today at 5pm if anyone wants to shoot the breeze.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
