Scotland 29th Sept 2012 - 6th Oct 2012
Hi All,
I know this doesn't seem as adventurous as other posts but, I am leaving Swindon, Wiltshire, UK for Scotland on Saturday 29th September 2012 (Week today)
I have no plans other than the first night at a campsite to settle into things before wild camping for the remainder of the trip as long as the weather stays reasonable.
Camping at Loch Lomond on this site (1st Night):
Camping accommodation on the West Highland Way – Beinglas Farm Campsite
From here, on Sunday the 30th, I have no plans other than to return home by 6th/7th October & to ride the most I can and experience what Scotland has to offer as I have never been.
I have planned to camp, if it gets too much then I have a list of B&B's and Hostels dotted around the High lands, Islands, lowland to have a look at should it be required.
Should anyone be heading that way or wish to join me please get in touch, it would be fantastic to meet fellow like minded riders, oh and I ride a NC700X.
Cheers
Ash

Your passing my front door almost Ash. I live 5 mins from the Erskine Bridge and about 20 from Loch Lomond. If you want to call in for a heat & some food, let me know and we'll meet up somewhere.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
