SE Europe the next 3-4 weeks...

HI all,

Well I am leaving Belgium today or tomorrow (26-27july) and I'm heading to Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, Fyrom, Greece, (maybe Istanbul), Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany and home.

I'm planning this from July 27 to August 17 (maybe a few days more depending on how it goes.) I just returned earlier from another trip, but I still have some time off, so want to make the best out of it. Normally I do this with my wife, but her bike is still in Romania after it broke last week...

I am easy going and ride a Beemer, 1200GS Adventure. I do like to ride rather fast than slow... ;-) I make (small) movies from all the trips, just have a look at my website if you're interested.

So is there anyone interested in joining along for the whole trip or a part of it? Or maybe if you read this and you're living in one of these countries you are most welcome to send me a message and/or we could meet... I also do need to sleep everyday a few hours... ;-) I have my sleeping bag with me but I don't fancy camping that much, I rather Couchsurf or hostels...

Just let me know!

Seb

Hi Seb,
I'm leaving Belgium on Sunday 29th for what should have been Bangkok, but now Tibet and Xinjiang closed and the Pamirs most probably closed too.
The trip needs some reorganizing.
We could join efforts for part of the route to Istanbul!
Make a pit-stop in Hatrival ( Saint-Hubert ) we'll talk about it...

New to Horizons Unlimited?

New to motorcycle travelling? New to the HU site? Confused? Too many options? It's really very simple - just 4 easy steps!

Horizons Unlimited was founded in 1997 by Grant and Susan Johnson following their journey around the world on a BMW R80G/S.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
