South bound to Latin America from Vancouver
Hello Everyone,
After one false start I am finally headed out on a southward bound adventure to Latin America starting in Vancouver, Canada within the next few days. I do not have any firm plans, just a general direction, some time and a good bike. If there is anyone in the area or along the way, who would like to hook up and ride for a while, or just exchange some stories over a . Send me a note:

Cheers,
Allan

Going South.
Hello,
I will be heading south from Montana soon, before September 5. I will be riding to Lima, Peru. I will be riding a 2013 Honda CRF 250 L and hope to get in as much dirt riding as possible. I do have stops in the states: Reno, SF, LA and that is it. Will take about one week to get to the Mexican border from here. Planning on going down the Baja peninsula, taking the ferry across to Mazatlan and then probably along the coast. Don't plan on spending too much time in C.A. but that could change. Might want to see a bit of Nicaragua for example. No plans are concrete.
Peace

Hi Ron,
Sounds like your plans are similar to mine, very open and subject to change. I am planning on leaving tomorrow, September 30th, and driving down the coast road to San Diego and then into Baja. It looks like I may be a few days ahead of you, let me when on which date you are planning to be be in San Diego and maybe we can ride together for a while through Mexico.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
