South of France/Corsica next week anyone?
Hi all,
I'm in Burgundy, have 10 days holiday starting Sunday 14th and am heading for the Ardeche to a mate for Bastille fireworks - after that not much of a clue where to go! Anyone in the south of France or Corsica and want to meet up/give advice of great sights/beaches/roads/campsites/ferry crossings etc?
Heading up near Limoges for the 22nd/23rd and want to cross the Millau Viaduct (ex-engineer and bit of a bridge geek I'm afraid!).
Answers on the back of a postcard please......
Anna

Give yourself extra time on Sunday; the Tour de France is running Givors to Mont Ventoux so goes pretty close to the Ardeche. I don't think you'll cross the route itself but there'll be a lot of additional traffic.

Awwwwww, Just planning my trip over to Corsica from the UK, through the Alps to Nice, stop over with friends there, then a few days in Corsica (tempted by the tour de France coverage) and back via route Napoleon, two up on my trusty ZRX, but cant leave until the end of August. Was going to be a few of us going but as always, one by one they drop out.

Hi,
Hope you're enjoying our lovely weather! Can get a bit sticky after 11.00am, and it's likely to be with us for sometime. See you are heading up Limoges way at the beginning of next week. If you need a stop over I'm 40kms west. Drop me a PM.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
