Stuck in Peru
I'm back in Arequipa, busy growing bones after breaking my shoulder a couple of weeks ago.
It'll be a month or two before I can ride again, so if you're passing this way & fancy a send me an email.

Hmmm.... somebody kidnapped you over there?
Greetings, i'm in Azul at the moment, will not make it up to Peru this time, but maybe a bit later (like four or five years, if you'll still be there...)

Hi Bob
Sorry to hear about the broken shoulder; not overconfidence on the ripio again, I hope?
Enjoy your break (groan!). Plenty of time to straighten the bars and bash the panniers back into shape while you're mending.
Buena suerte.

Thanks Mick.
Strangely enough, I did'nt crash this time. Its the first time I've broken something without the aid of a motorcycle.
The full story and some gory photos are on the website. http://www.smellybiker.com.

If you want a few UK bike magazines sent out with some marmite, email me offline with an address and I'll send some out.
Hope you're back on your wheels soon.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
