Turkey - Iran..Help!
Hello
I'm heading off on a trip around the Middle East in Late April to July (Greece - Turkey- Syria - Iran and then back to Istanbul). At present I have all my visas except for my Iranian Visa authorisation number. It has been a while since I applied through an agency and I'm beginning to think that it won’t be issued as I'm a single female traveller.
I'm very keen to see Iran and had planned to cross over the border from Turkey in mid to late May (or early June – I can be a little flexible with the dates). If there is anyone who is crossing from Turkey at around that time could you please let me know? If the Authorities know that I'm travelling with someone, they may be more inclined to let me in!
Also, happy to travel or meet up with people anywhere along the path - let me know if you are going to be around that area.
Cheers
Adastra

Crossing Paths
Hey, I am solo female traveler, but heading in the opposite way!
Im heading through Iran around may and I will be in Turkey around june - i think!
Keep in touch with me and maybe we can catch up along the way!
I am currently working on my Pakistan visa (im in India, Passport is in Australia) so can not give you any first hand tips on Iran, I will most likely use the online system that most overlanders on this website use Iran Internet Visa Application
I will let you know how it goes, but that might be too late for you! Best of luck!
Danielle

Hi Danielle
We meet at the Coory Hub Meeting :-) Hope your trip is going well -I've been following the blog - looks good!
I went through KeystoPersia - was considering IranVisa - maybe should have gone through them :-( However if I do get knocked back I'll PM you with a plan - if there's no problem, we can always meet up for a day or so!!
Cheers

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
