What date are you leaving?
I'm heading down to Croatia next month for a 3 week trip. Going via Austria and Slovenia staying in cheap hotels/B&B's. I'll probably be doing the Dover-Dunkurke crossing - it seems to be the cheapest at the moment (£46 return).
I haven't fixed an exact date of departure yet, but if the dates tie up I'd be quite happy to do the ride down with you.
Mark.

That's a bit late in the month for me. I'm hoping to hit the road on 2nd Sept. I'm planning to come back through the Dolomites and over the Stelvio Pass, so I want to make sure I'm heading back before the weather starts to deteriorate.
Have a good trip anyway.

Kathy and I are riding our R1200RT down to Turkey Sept 21 until around Oct 6. Not very long I know, but I have a cunning plan, travelling while we sleep..... As time is short, we will ride to Harwich Thurs night, 23.30 crossing, wake up in Holland. Ride down to Munich, Auto-Zug to Ancona- ferry to Ingomenitsa, Greece and ride over to Turkey...
We have a rough idea on our itinerary, avoid the bad weather..no hopefully we will get hotels along the way, we hear you can normally get rooms easily enough.....maybe see you on the road

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
