Hi,
I guess that a good part of your itinerary matches with mine (Italy-India): I will be leaving Italy in late July and will be (hopefully) in Iran approximately from 2nd August to 7th August.
It would be great to meet in the south-east of Iran in order to cross the Pakistani border ina small group.
I have contacted already many overlanders that are doing the same itinerary this summer, but they have different timing.
I drive a campervan (not motorbike, sorry... I feel as a sort of clandestine in this website!).
Regards
Giuseppe

Hi Guiseppe,
I am a bit ahead of you, my plan is to enter Iran about 2nd July and leave about the 18th-18/22nd July, but I am well aware my plans will change depending on weather, people I meet places i come across. As i am sure your plans will too.
Judging by the pace you are going though you may catch me up in Pakistan or India. If you PM me your email address then I can email you as I go along to update you of where I am.
I plan to be in Pakistan form 18/22nd July - about 13th August, mainly in near Islamabad, lahore and the karakoum area.
India from 13th August - End of august/ beginning september, concentrating on Kashmir, delhi and rajasthan.
Ps the campervan doesn't put me off at all.
Keep me updated
James

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
