Hi all,
I have just got back to the UK after 5 years traveling North and Central America by motorbike and thinking of arranging an Adventurist camping weekend mid-September on a friend’s farm just south of Birmingham.
This is just an idea and wanted to gauge if there was any interest
This would not be a festival and not designed to make money but a chance to speak to other travellers and share stories and tips. Test your equipment, learn some things and make new friends.
You would be allowed to camp, either tent, hammock, RV or Van with your own fire and there would be toilets to use.
There are supermarkets nearby so can load up on supplies locally.
t would start Friday evening and end Sunday. Possibly organise a ride out Sunday morning if there was interest.
Water would be provided but no bathrooms only toilets. There would also be some gazebos just in case if rains
Would also like to arrange some talks and discussions Saturday about equipment and what it’s really like to do a long trip. Maybe talks about keeping healthy, mentally and physically, while traveling and real-world solutions to problems you will face on the road.
I was thinking the cost would be about £60 just to cover the rental of the space and toilets mainly
If anyone would be interested in helping and getting involved or have any suggestions, please drop me an email to “

Thanks all and safe travels
