UK - South Africa - Sep 2014 (York to Cape Town)
Hi Guys,
I'm planning on a trip from York Minster to the Cape of Good Hope, leaving in September 2014. Looking for a travel companion.
I'm doing the trip and taking my camera with me as I'm a keen photographer and hope to travel across the Western Bulge then head over to Victoria Falls, then around the Kalahari and then on to South Africa. I've pretty much put the trip together but I'm flexible if anybody is interested in joining me.

Hi Mike
I have been thinking about going to South Africa for a while. Have only been to Morocco so far and fell in love with Africa.
Don't have anything planned yet as I have just started reading other people's stories to gather some information.
I would be free to travel in 2014, have got the money saved towards the trip. All I need is to make a plan and find a company.
Could you please tell me something more about your plans? How long are you planning to travel to SA? what kind of bike are you going to ride?
Little bit about me:
I am 34, come from Poland, currently living in London. I have got Ktm 950 adv, but thinking about something lighter for this trip
Cheers
Peter

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
