Vienna to India in August 2016
Hey Guys,
i'm starting my bike-trip from Austria, heading east, in the second week of august. Route will be Hungary, Serbia, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan.
If there's anyone being interested or is traveling the same countries at this time, it would be a pleasure to meet and ride together

Hey,
Im currently in Chamonix, France.
Unfortunately you are leaving a few weeks after i pass you (If i don't go Spain).
I could have joined you up to Turkey and i speak Turkish so i could have got you to at least the middle of Turkey.
I will most likely be going along the coast as i have been told that all the hotels and resorts are heavily discounted on the account of the attacks that occurred recently.
I plan on visiting family in Cyprus, maybe i can join you in Turkey depending on how slow you go.
But if I'm honest i have no idea where I'm going, i will decide once in Cyprus if I'm going South to Cape town or East.
Good luck with your trip
p.s. Im probably going to pass by Budapest if you want to catch up, Ill confirm this if you want.
Have you already got your Carnet?

Turkey / Iran
Hi Jojo,
I'm going to be setting off from Chamonix 2 weeks after you (start of september) but I'll be taking a more direct route to Turkey. (Getting an overnight ferry from italy to greece then riding straight to turkey - so roughly 4 days after ill arrive in Turkey.)
Anyway maybe I'll catch you up towards turkey and Iran, if so, it might be nice to ride with you.
(Im also heading to pakistan, then to the southern tip of india)
Feel free to drop me a message if you pick this up.
All the best.

Cheers,
Nora

I had a bit of hassle getting into Turkey but i got in. Im in Cyprus now and trying to decide where i want to go.
All my planning and prep was based on the silk road via the stans but Russia seems like a hassle, now I'm pretty set on heading home to Australia via India.
Im just preparing all my stuff for the carnet which my brother will submit for me this week in Australia and i will start getting the cheaper visas in the meantime incase the carnet doesn't get approved and i have to change plans.
Either way i have to leave Cyprus in a month.
