Vladivostok-Bangkok in 09/12 by ship
Hi there,
i want to ship my bike from Vladivostk to Bangkok around the 20.09.12. my Visa ends at the 28.09.12, so there is a little time left.
What about you? Maybe you wanna do like me and we can share a Container?
I already started contact to a company in Vladivostok, so things are running...
I m on my Africa Twin since germany starting in May 2012.
Cheers
Henrik
OK, i got an answer from Vladiwostok:
"Hi Henrik,
we can ship in container for $2400.00/20'. The rate includes loading, securing, delivery container to the port, port charges, customs clearance and inspection. Or you can go to Korea on ferry ant then from there to Bangkok. Other option is: there will be other guy who wants to go to Thailand or Malaysia at the same time as you, we can ship you together in one container (+ extra $200 for loading and customs clearance for the extra bike) and you may split the cost."

Hi henrik,
the guy yuri is talking about must be me.
Where are you right now?
I'm in Chita trying to get my bike on a train because I fear my chain is not gonna make the 3000km to Vladivostok.
But I don't think I can manage that without Russian language.
You can contact me at null null 49 176 35719414
cheers

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
