If there are any stragglers, I should arrive in Eastern Russia sometime in June, and will ride west, ultimately to Africa. Keep me in the loop. Thanks

Updating my timeline a little:
- I'm flying my bike out of Vancouver on the 13th, so by the time i get it out of Seoul, and across the Ferry, I should arrive in Russia for the 20th June give or take.
Anyone going to be around then?

Vladivostok, Chabarowsk, Mongolia and back home
Hello Travellers,
bags are packed, I am leaving for Japan tomorrow and will spend four or five weeks in Japan. After that I will ship the bike to Sakhalin, from there to Vladivostok and then drive to chabarowsk and continue my way through Siberia to Mongolia, from there to Khazakstan and then further through Russia back home. Anyone who is doing this trip as well in June 2013?
All the best
Michael

Andrew - looks like we'll be there within a couple of days of each other.
I hadn't thought too much about route, but lets certainly plan on meeting up in Vlad.

Hi - we are Igor and Penny from NZ, travelling 2up on a BMW R100GS. We will be in South Korea from the 23rd of May, and taking the Sokcho-Zarubino ferry on Tues 4th June.
From there, we will travel west to Irkutsk, then through Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrg, Tajik, Uzbek, Kaz, Georgia, Turkey, then western Europe.
Will camp when we need to and stay in cheap accommodation when possible. Hoping to see some of you on the road.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
