vladivostok - vancouver per ship July 2014
I am looking for other bikers or cardrivers who like to ship their bikes or vehicles from Vladivostok to Vancouver in a container in end of July 2014. An example: a 20 feet container costs around USD 6.000. If we would be 4 bikes each one would pay USD 1.500
Apart from that I look for companions from Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia to Vladivosto in July 2014. Don't forget: the shortest way to yourself is a trip around the world!!!

Container Share
Hi
Do you still need someone to share a container from Vladivostok to Vancouver at the end of July 2014?

Dear Paul,
I did a lot of research and finally found out that this transfer is too costly for me and so I changed plans and will go now on June 25 or 26 from Ulaanbaatar Mongolia to Siberia Yakutsk and Magdan (road of bones). Trip will take 3 weeks to and fro. Would be great if you join. If your transfer from Vladi to Canada or USA is less than USD 3.000 then please tell me and I will rethink. We are in Omsk heading East. Baikal maybe next week and then Mongolia.
Stay in touch and let us know where you are too. Should be Novosibersk by Wednesday.

End of July in Vladivostok
Yuri has said that all I need to do is leave the bike with him in Vladivostok at the end of July and he will take care of the rest, with the bike arriving in Vancouver for about the middle of August. I'm in northern Turkey at the moment, killing time and doing some work on the bike so it's ready for the Russian leg, which starts promptly on the 1st of July. Approx 10,000km in 30 days. Should be easy. Erk.
Are any of you guys crossing into Russia via Georgia around that time?
Paul

That works for us as well. We are waiting for parts and stuck in Novosibirsk this week. Will be in Vlad by July. Tell Yuri to get ready for us as well!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
