Angolan tourist visa is possible to get in Cape town
we are very pleased that we can tell you that we got our tourist Angola visum!!!!
So it is possible....
I read much about the visa application on this forum, but no successtories.
If you want to apply for it in Cape town, you need to arrange it via Lezlie Combrinck. She has an Angolan travel service and can do all the paperwork for you and applies for you on your behalve.
Her adress is:
Lezle Combrinck
The Palms Centre(first floor, she has an office with other travel agents)
145 Sir Lowrie road
Cape town
021-4626104
contact: lezle AT -you know what to do here- tripostravel.co.za
Costs: 750R for the visum 450R for the invitation letter including doing all the embassy visits for you (same price if you only want the invitation letter)
It takes about 2 weeks, you need to give to her:
passport, 2 photo's, copy of yellow fever, AND the letter of employment in Portugese
this last means a letter in which your employer states that you are emplyed or that you are reseigned and will come back. With a letterhead, stamp and a signature. Lezle can translate it for you if you don't have an portugese one. If you are unemployed maybe mr. Photoshop can give you one.
It don't need to be long. Just 2 or 3 lines in which your employer says that you are employed are enough. Without letterhead stamp and signature it can be denied.
She arranges the letter of invitation for you, this will be faxed to Luanda.
Good luck! Hope to see you somewhere on the Westcoast.
PS in Cape town they don't give out transit visa, they say that you can get this in Johannesburg, but I cannot confirm this. For a transit visum you don't need all the paperwork. But than you only have 5 days to cross.

Reason: never post an email address in the clear, we don't want the spambot scum to harvest it!
