ATM or other insurance for SA/list of countries where it is recommended.
I recently read on here that somebody offers 6 months of insurance valid in many South American countries for 580 Argentinian Pesos, but they mentioned ATM insurance as being cheaper, however the link I found in google was dead. Does anybody have a link for them? Am I more likely to get away without issue by procuring this insurance, and showing at borders even for countries I'm not insured in, or simply showing Canadian papers and an IDL for those countries. I understand many people get away with Canadian papers, but if 150$ can save me so much headache, and in the case of an accident allow me to go immediately, I am tempted. I would want liability only.
I'll be starting in Mexico, I'm covered to the US border already.
Could I be covered for Mexico as well cheaper that way?
Motorcycle Express - Ship Your Bike
Seems to suggest they cover for all South America but costs 500$ US not in Pesos, that's definitely out of my budget.
