Bolivia VISA Solvency
Hey there... I'm planning a ride of South America in the fall, and Bolivia requires US passport holders to get a VISA. No problem. But there's an elusive x-factor in the list of requirements, and that is to show proof of solvency... We gotta show that we can pay for ourselves to be there... as if paying the 160$ advance filing fee isn't proof enough.
Has anyone ever seen an example or proof of what exactly they're looking for on the necessary bank statements you provide when applying for the VISA? Is it a specific balance? Amount per day spent there? What? The application is rather vague and surely by design. But I don't have money saved in the bank and need to know what I need to show, thanks!
