Help wanted for border crossing
Hi Guy’s
I've been trying to buy a motorbike (Suzuki 125 Yes) in Brasil for the last three weeks.
At first i needed a cpf, then a prove of adres. I when i filally got all of that sorted out. The guy at the transport office decided that it would be impossible for my visa to buy a motorbike. Grrrrr……. Because they tightened the regulations in the province since the beginning of this year to stop fraud from the nearby provinces.
I’m staying with friends who offered to put the bike in they’re name.
My Question: will I be able to cross the borders if the bike is not registrated in my name?
Someone told me I could get clearances signed by a legal dude to cross the Brazilian borders. But what about the borders between chili, peru, Uruguay,Bolivia and Argentina.
I’f got an option on a bike for tomorrow. So any knowledge or advice in really appreciated.
I really want to hit the road, taking a bus now would be very disappointing.
