quoted 50
I was quoted 50 Euros by a travel agent, I've been told by others that it should cost a lot more for the letter of invite. Im confused. Not sure whether to go with the one I have already or go elsewhere. Who has actually received LOI + Visa at Istanbul or Europe somewhere?

The second link on google is only 30 euro and looks legit. Free free to test it for me.

I got my LOI through Stantours. It cost about £40 from what I remember. David is very helpful and can answer any of your questions. It took about 2 weeks to come through with no problems.
I collected in Istanbul, again no real problems. There was a 3 day processing time but the cost was €180. ouch.

The cheaper ones tend to take longer. I found this out when I was panicing in Pakistan as my visa was expiring and i had to leave but I didn't want to spend 100$ on the number. So I also applied for another number where you can pay once you arrive in Iran. About 4 months too late I received the number... in that time I used the expensive one and had traveled through Iran.
Just be careful - I meet a girl at the embassy who used a doggy one and kept her money and did nothing for the number. I would recommend using a company someone has used before.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
