In 2003 my son, another friend and I rode down to Creel and then over the Sierras and over to Baja and up to just east of San Diego, we forgot/didnot/just messed up and thought we didnt have to clear our TVIP papers. now two of us are hoping to ride to Peru in October and I find out that we have outstanding vehicle permits and there is no way to close them as two bikes have been sold and one was wrecked and we are told the only way to clear the permits is to bring the bikes ( see above ) and the paperwork to a border station....Any help or useful suggestions would be greatly appreciated
