Overland S America vs visa exit requirements - how do you do it ?
Hi all,
We're travelling from Quito southwards on the bike then out of Buenos Aires approx 3 months later and are just booking our flights. According to the travel agency, technically you need proof of exit of each country along the route as you enter.
How does this work when you're over-landing with an exit from another country ? Does the fact you have the bike overrule this or do you still need some other sort of onward ticket (like a cheap bus ticket over the border) ? That would then seem to contradict the "you must exit with your vehicle" rule though!
Am I worrying over nothing ? Just would hate to get turned back at some of the out of the way border crossings over something like this!
