Short term travel insurance covering bike touring - UK
Hi,
Any recommendations for UK travel insurance that covers motorcycle touring as an activity? Will be riding pistes in Morocco.
I'm only going for two weeks, Europe and Morocco. I live in/am a citizen of the UK.
Don't mind paying a little more for insurance that will actually pay out in the event of a claim. More interested in medical expenses/medevac than anything else.
Thanks my dears
Matt

The Post Office travel insurance used to cover motorcycle travel but do check with them as policies can change from one year to another.

Don't know what bank you use but my wife gets "free" travel insurance with her Nat West account and it definitely covers both of us for bike touring world wide (we had many many conversations with them to double check that we or they hadn't misread the small print). We're currently touring the US using it. Free for a month and then you pay for longer trips.
Failing that try HC Travel. They gave me a bike touring quote a month or two back but it was somewhat more expensive than the Nat West option.

I ended up arranging my travel insurance through Carole Nash. The policy is with AXA and covers motorcycle touring with no limit on engine capacity.
£55 for two weeks in Europe and morocco. Not cheap, but reasonable cover, I think.
