South and East Africa on a UK or South african passport?
I need a bit of wisdom please:
I have dual nationality (British/South-African) and so have both passports. Me and the missus are doing South and East Africa by moto soon and I was wondering if there would be a problem to "swap" between passports when going from country to country.
Some of the visas that are quite expensive for European citizens, are free or atleast much cheaper if you have a local passport.
The bikes are UK reg and so will the carnet be, so I'm thinking that if the border guards are'nt going to be a problem, this might.
It gets more complicated:
We're flying in from Australia and I'm not sure weather to enter South africa on my British or South african passport.
I'm thinking that which ever passport I choose to enter on, I'm most likely going to have to stick to for the rest of the trip.
Advise very much needed...
