Hi Peter, I crossed into the US from Mexico about a week ago heading for Alaska. A friendly Mexican with an address in the US, Joe, the manager of the Belmar hotel in old Mazatlan, allowed me to use his address and get my insurance from Progressive over the internet, it was very quick and you can print off the document that you must carry and produce if stopped, 12 months worth comes to just under US$100.00 for the basic "third party". , a word of warning, I'm in Flagstaff AZ at the moment and the snow stopped last night, it's clear now but still bloody cold but at least it's now on the + side. Ride safe.
