Visas to Central America (Canadian Permanent Resident/ Peruvian Passport)
I know that as a peruvian citizen i need VISAS to enter the following countries:
-Mexico
-Costa Rica
-Guatemala
-Honduras
-Nicaragua
-Panama
-El Salvador
But, for example, with my canadian permanent resident card i can enter Mexico without a VISA. I know this is a tricky question, but i hope someone can answer or tell me where to look for this info
What other of the listed countries above can i enter with my canadian PR card? (without getting visas)
I'm planning on riding from Canada to Tierra del Fuego in 2009 and i need to start sorting out all the paperwork needed.
Gracias!
Alberto.

Visas to Central America (Canadian Permanent Resident/ Peruvian Passport)
Que tal brother, yo soy Peruano y tambien estoy a punto de viajar desde Ohio a Peru en unas semanas.
Since you are a permanent resident in Canada you must go to the Mexican consulate and get the visa, (much easier with your resident card), then you can go to the Guatemala Consulate and ask for Visa CA-4 wich allow you to get to Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Honduras (this visa was approved last October) and finally you can just mail your passport to the embassy of Costa Rica and Panama to get their visas. Here in the US I was only required to be present at the consulate of Mexico and Guatemala.
Yo tengo casi todo listo, solo necesito terminar algunas cosas por aqui y tengo planeado salir aprox. el 20 de Junio.
Si tienes alguna pregunta me puedes mandar un email a
jalva_pe(at)hotmail(dot)com
Suerte

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
