The trip planning section on the left of the screen should have most everything you need to know.
Ask the shipper about how to get your bike to Europe or wherever you are going. Flying seems to be the better choice. Toronto, Canada usually being cheaper than US airports. If you temporarily import the bike you don't need to register it. You need insurance (green card). Motorcycle Express (link on top of this page) seems to hadle all of that.
As for buying locally, many countries want you to be a resident (i.e. not on a tourist visa) to purchase and register a vehicle. I have no idea about Hungary. You said you are going for training in Hungary, but no mention of where after. That will greatly affect paperwork, transport, etc. especially if you need a Carnet.
