Train infos
Hi,
thanks to motorreiter for the Info
I arrived in Vladivostok now. I will not to take the Trans-Siberian-Railway, but I got some basic information about shipping the motorbike with the luggage-train back to Moscow.
The motorbike must go on a separate luggage-train. Take it to the passenger-train is not possible.
There are about two luggage-trains a week
The luggage-trains need about 12-14 days from Vladivostok to Moskow, but there are sometimes special trains (with bigger doors) they takes up to 20 days. For my sidecar I would have needed the big doors one, but normal bikes can go also in the normal luggage train.
The price for a normal bike was about 10.000 Rubel (250€), for my Sidecar it would have been 20.000 Rubel.
You just drop the bike at the station of, the rest including box will be done by the train-personal.
Anyway, if You want to take the train from Vladivostok, contact the Iron Tigers in Vladivostok.
