I haven't done this trip exactly, but I have flown my bike twice.
Once from Brisbane Au to Thailand and then from Cambodia to Korea.
Both times were pretty easy, but when in a foreign country, you have to do a lot of running around - but worth it, you end up meeting people you would have never even talk to with amazing stories.
Both times I did this, it cost around $700. The first time it was uncreated the second time it was
good luck with the planning!

Check the shipping database, over 1000 shipments are in there!
Link on left...
We always recommend shipping the bike OUT of exotic places, not IN. MUCH less problem and you won't be waiting/wasting weeks of your holiday if something goes wrong. Or worse it disappears...
MOST people fly to Japan, then take the ferry to Vlad. Shipping in to Vlad is almost impossible.
Let us know what happens and how it all works out! The more people add to the shipping database the more useful it is for all.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
