Shipping from Buenos Aires to the U.K. in the next two weeks
Hi guys,
We need to ship two Suzuki DRz 400's out of Buenos Aires back to England in the next couple of weeks. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which company we should use? Is there anybody else in the area willing to share a container if that is what we need to do?
We are not in any rush for the bikes so they can take as long as they need. The most important thing is to keep the costs as low as possible.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
Pete.

Shipping from B/Aires
Hi just some info on shipping from B/A, we were very lucky to have all our homework pay off in B/A. We were able to ship An Off road Buggy AdventureBug – The Crazy Travelers | Chris and Elayne Clash journey in the worlds most travelled homemade buggy, Victor! and a Land Rover, and 2 Bmw's from the port of Zarate. It was a fantastic deal as we shipped my buggy to East London with the other vehicles ...our buggy complete all up Usd 875.00 Ro/Ro the 2 bmw bikes we shipped to East London for Usd 440.00 all up....not sure if anybody has done this before. The service was great no problems ...but the ship only sailed once per month to this destination .lucky we were there at the right time 2days all gone 11 days to East London.
The reason this information may help you is M.O.L have a Ro/Ro ship service which does get to Europe but a longer passage. this is the contact in B/A c/o Agencia Maritima Sudocean 25 de Mayo 555 10th Floor 1002 Buenos Aires Argentina
tel 54-11-4310 Fax 54-11-4310-2320 ask for Lusiana great help.
Hope this may help anbody for the future we did this in 2010

Shared shipping
Hi Pete,
We are trying to do the same thing. Have you had any luck with the shipping? We have two KLR650s that we are trying to ship to the UK or Europe in about mid-feb (flexible with dates).
When are you wanting to ship?
Regards,
Ewen

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
