I am using a company called "Get Routed" to ship my bike to the U.S.
I know they ship to Europe etc. They have been extremely helpful and perhaps worth contacting. Their number is 03-9351 0612 and e-mail
dave@getrouted.com.au.
Hope this is helpful, good luck.

Hi, google “Tradelanes Melborne “. I used their services 5 years ago, to ship my bike by sea from Oz to Europe. Can generally recommend, they could arrange airfreight, too, and and their price & communication was good. The only drawback was that my bike arrived about 3 weeks later than originally planned (took 2 months total!), but that was probably something out of the shipping company´s hands, the container had missed a change of vessel somewhere along the way, or so I heard.
(but keep in mind my experience is from half a decade back).

Hello
if you get stuck i can help
I run a motorbike shipping company in Melbourne called Bikes Abroad and can arrange your shipping and also crate your bike and take front wheel off to keep the crate as small as possible to lower your freight/port charges payable.
If you need help or want a quote, just email me at ivan@bikesabroad.com.au

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
