Transport 6 bikes UK to Marakech
I know this is p*ssing distance for most of you but any advice would be gratefully accepted.
We want to get six enduro bikes to Morocco so we can fly in for a weeks riding.
Does anyone know of a company that does that kind of thing.
Thanks in advance

Anyone know what biketruck charge for a one way trip (to Spain)? Looks like a good option for saving some time.
Cheers.

Not too sure...think i heard 350pounds one way and 500 return. Please dont take that as gospel though.....could be loads cheaper especially if you organise a group of bikes from one pick up point.I don't think 500 return is too bad...get yourself a cheapie with easyjet return for 50quid and meet yourbike in Malaga....sorted!
I think it could work out more expensive riding down and back after paying for ferries, hotels, fuel, tolls etc....plus the boring motorway and the time it takes....

Trucking unaccompanied bikes across to Morocco is no problem....the truck driver will need V5 for the bike.....though just to be safe i would give all paperwork plus photo copied page from bike owners passport.
If trucked back from Morocco unaccompanied expected panniers to be searched by customs...possibly both custom points...good idea to leave pannier keys with truck or you will end up with forced locks.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
