I was planing the container as the guy I was traveling with was concerned with the cost, now he has pulled out, I new it was always a possibility as I got the impression he was not as committed, so I'm planning to fly myself and bike to USA or Canada unless I meet others doing a container.
You will be well in front of me, I don't plan to hang around as I want to get to New York in September so if I'm at the end you are then I would be happy to team up with transport.

Hi Lowrider, myself and my girlfriend are riding in that general direction (leaving from UK) and were planning to be in Vladivostok end of July. We are riding 2-up yamaha xt660z. We want to end up anywhere on west coast of America / Canada and currently exploring options either Vlad to South Korea or air freight out of UlaanBaattaar Mongolia.
I know Air Canada might be starting up their "mega" deal again this year but the question will be whether they allow it flying out of South Korea or if its just from Canadian terminals...
Let me know where you get to, we might be on a similar timings

Shipping bike from S Korea to Vancouver
Lowrider
I am planning on being in South Korea August time line, after completing ride from Ireland to Vladivostok. Initial plans are to fly bike over to Vancouver for continuation of my RTW ride.
Has anyone received any up to date quotes for
1: Shipping bike by air cargo
2: Shipping by boat
I will be riding a BMW 1150 GS
What's the cost of a shared container?
I talked to Air Canada a few weeks ago about renewal of their Motorcycle shipping programme, they still would not commit to whether or not it would be renewed for 2016
