Us or Canada to Russia

I'm looking to go from Nicaragua to Sweden, by 4X4. I know this is not the correct place for car questions. Having looked hard for a equivalent car site with no luck, I hope you give me a break.
I currently live in Nicaragua, since I'm swedish looking to move back I thought this would be a fun way, not cheap, instead of bumping back by plane.

I want to ship the car as far east as possible, where you still have road-resembling conditions. If at all possible, plane-freight would be preferable.
If there is any company that let's you tag along with your vehicle, that would be great(I guess it's a lot to ask).

Any ideas???
I will contact Air Magadan and STS North America as a starter. Any additional tips greatly appreciated.

I've read previous posts but a lot of them are old, and there might be some new info.

Sincerely Eskil

As Far East?

I am not sure of the information you are looking for however I can say that driving to the east cost of Canada from Nicaragua can be as easy, read all paved, or as difficult as you want to make it.

The question then becomes not how far east but rather how far North you can go and still arrange for shipping of your vehicle.

If that is the question I will defer to those members living on our eastern shores for their advice.

Rick

Yepp

While I'm on the american continent I wasn't expecting any really big problems. Drove from Miami to Nicaragua with a Subaru Impreza 2 months ago, all good and no problems whatsoever. You can do that trip in 5 days, hard driving. I did in 8 days, stopping by friends thus "loosing" 2 days.

Far east, Russia. It's a bit tricky getting anybody to understand I'm talking about Russia, without even mentioning it. I was just so thrilled I had found a site that actually provided really usefull info so in my joy I forgott about Russia beeing part of the destination...
I have seen that "a lot" of people go to Vladivostok.
If there's any way to get farther eastwards in Russia from the Us or Canada that would be great.
As for north to south, still beeing on the American continent it doesn't really matter as far as I'm north of S.F., Seattle or Vancouver seems to be able to present some options. If you can ship from Alaska that would be even better but the above mentioned works.

This is my question. Where from in the Us or Canada should I ship, if I want to get to eastern Russia, directly. If you know of some smaller company that would be great as they are sometimes more flexible than the big guys.

Thanks in advance for any and all replies

/Eskil

same problem

Eskil

I am having same problems !

I need to go the other direction, from Russia to Canada.
There is the shipping company i talked about in the other posting few weeks back called FESCO.

I think they are a good possibility, but expensive (everything always is !) and still the problem of getting the person across aswell !.

keep in touch.

Phil.

I'm pretty sure FESCO can ship it for you. They only do things by the container load, so if you put your car in one, post here to see if you can get any motorcycle riders heading that way to help with the cost. The Seatle FESCO office is helpful.

Pretty sure they can take the shipment to Magadan if you want.

I believe Korean Air has a flight from Seatle to Magadan or Vlad. If they don't fly to Magadan, you can go to Vlad. and get an internal flight to Magadan.

Phil!

My sponsor backed out!!!
That would have been fun though.
So as of 2 weeks I'll just drive up to NY load my vehicle and go by boat myself, pick it upp in england and drive home to Sweden.
I was compiling an e-mail list to a bunch of russian air-cargo lines, the day before the main sponsor decided to get cheap.

I was going to write them all (in one e-mail) and ask them for prices.
If you want I can send you the list of e-mails and the website I found them on. (Hope I still have it).

Really good that guys like you exist, that way I can point my finger towards you and say "he does it as well"/"this is rather normal".

Hope you get to do it soon!
