Vladivostok to Chile in August 2013
Hi all.
We are two Spanish travelers, we have to travel from Spain to Vladivostok in the summer of 2012.
We are looking for a transport to Vladivostok Santigo de Chile.
The shipping is two BMW R1200GS motorcycles. The shipping date would be 20 to 25 August.
I have read in the forum that is best done from South Korea, there would not be problems if necessary move.

Anybody know any agent that we can make this transport?
thank you very much

Hello,
I am also from Spain and I also will be around Vlad at the end of August. My plan is to jump to Vancouver though, not South America. For what I know, yes this should be done through South Corea. You can get quotes and information from several sources, look around in the forum... but contacting Wendy Choi in Corea should be a good start (her email address is all over this forum). There is also, Yuri Melnikov in Vladivostok (look for his address, I don't have it with me). I am planning to contact DHL and others too, hoping to get a few different quotations before deciding. Wendy said sea would be 1500USD more or less and air would be 5000USD more or less.
Good luck!
Hola!
Buena suerte!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
