Who's the easiest to con - the Brits or the Germans
Howdy folks
Not many questions haven't been asked about Carnets - this is one...
Lets face it, a carnet is a necessary evil. Who wants to pay more than they have to for it - so I'm sure we'd be forgiven by the big man (whichever guise he comes in for you - or not as the case maybe..) if we underestimated the value of the vehicle in order to keep the carnet costs down.
From what I can gather - within reason the RAC accept yout valuation for carnet - no questions asked.
Does anyone know if the same goes for ADAC - are they as trusting as our friends in the RAC?? or do they do it by the book price and all that...?
If anyone has any experiences dealing with ADAC and valuing a vehicle - would appreciate if you could let me know.
Whilst writing - if anyone's thinking of getting a carnet with ADAC - worth joining for €44 as you'll save €100 on the carnet - leaving an extra €66 for the fund
Thanks
