New Tiger Cub
Has anyone heard anything about a possible 675 Tiger Cub slated for '09? This seems almost too good to be true.

I saw an artical about the 2009 Triumph range and that did include a new Cub. I am afraid I can't remember which publication it was in; could have been MCN, Ride or Bike. Not a great help I know but at the very least it confirms what you'd hoped.

The original cub was a200cc single, preceded by the terrier of 150cc. I had a cub and went all overthe UK with it. Great bike.
What I would like to see is a de tuned square engine that does decent mpg and will pull from 2k revs. Ideally with a seat height that lets me reach the ground
now a triple cub, that would be really good

I hope you are right, but looking at the Bonnevilles, big twin and Rocket I suspect it'll be an also ran designed to get you to buy a Tiger three years later because BMW have a waiting list for R1200's . The Tiger and Scrambler could have been fantastic all purpose bikes but they always seem to let the style muppets get one over the engineers.
Still, the prices tend to leave you with enough cash left to buy some useful add-on's.

Triumph Tiger Cub sketches i've seen have been more of a modern classic version - like a single or smaller parallel twin
would love one of those to go with my scrambler!!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
