Chapter paging not working in Travel Stories
Hi HU,
My story has enough chapters to go over one page in the summary.
https://new.horizonsunlimited.com/ts...h-the-americas
The two most recent chapters are missing here.
I can only access them by changing the sort order to "new to old".
A paging control has appeared at some point, but going to the second page didn't work then and I cannot even find that control now.
A friend tells me that on a computer he can see a chapter list, but on a tablet I cannot.
Q. Am I doing something wrong?
Cheers - Gavin

I think he's going into a page, because on the main page there is no right hand posts listing, but on any internal page there is. That was a decision to not clutter up the main page. The idea is to have either newest post at the top for those who are following you, or you send out an update notice to everyone who's signed up for updates to your blog. They can then read that story, and there's the menu on the right so they can choose where to go next.
For new people to your blog, they start at the top, read the opening entry, or can browse through a number of posts to see what they're interested in, do they like what they see in the main page teaser entries, or not. Then they "enter" by choosing one and then their navigation is on the right. Note that all entries are correctly listed in that right hand menu.
Designing what happens to who when is tricky, and we spent a LOT of time on it! But, I hope that makes sense.

It's down to concepts and user "paths" for the navigation bit, but the old/new sort is weird, so will check that out. In the meantime, sending out an update email to friends is good, and once they're in somewhere they can use the right hand menu.
You story is great by the way, love the writing and excellent pictures.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
