Patrick...use away....
Although....I hope that the slogans aren't all English. Maybe some Spanish passion, Australian wit, Irish lament, Russian proverb (Tis the oats that plough the field not the horse), Scandinavian wisdom, Asian haiku's etc. could be added by folks who command other languages.
After all, HU is about the whole world, not just NA.
And hey...all motorcycle ridin needs fossil fuel....maybe we need to pay homage to the diatoms....
Diatoms died so we could Ride...
Power by fossils. Ridden by a fossil. (maybe had appeal to us older guys)
It's Cruel to be outta Fuel.
Got Gas? Get Ridin'
Procured Petrol? Push off!
Just slippin' along the horizon
Drill down. Ride above.
Lubricate your Life. Ride.
Oil your ego. Ride.
Ok back to work.

The best lines ever relating to travel (for me anyway) were written by Mark Twain:
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the tradewinds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
Obviously a bit too big for a mug, but what about a shortened version:
Horizons Unlimited - Explore. Dream. Discover.

-Hippy/Inspirational poster style
oExplore your inner nomad
oOnly by exploring your horizons can you truly know yourself.
§ Only by exploring your world can you truly know yourself.
oThe only boundary between you and unlimited adventure is not going.
§ The only boundary between you and your unlimited horizon is: not looking for it.
-The Darwinistic ones: (it is Darwin year after all)
oIt is the nature of some to explore the horizons of their world
§It is the nature of some to explore the horizons of their existence
oI am a nomad by DNA and explorer by nature
oThe only way to understand your world is to push your horizons
oNomadic is in our genes, and exploration is in our souls.
oThe evolution of a explorer (then a pic that shows… a monkey, a Neanderthal, a 18th century walker, guy with back pack, covered wagon.. then fully loaded bike.
-Religious (just to balance out the Darwin ones)
o.. and on the 8th day he explored, and it was good.
oGod created the earth in only seven days.. so how could I be this lost.
oIf god did not want us to travel, he would not have created bikes.
§If we are not meant to travel bikes would never have been invented (the non-religious version.)
-Fun ones
oI lost my mind, so I am off into the horizon to look for it.
oToo much world.. not to explore it.
oI will chase the horizon until I catch it.
§I will follow the horizon until I find it.
oSorry cant stay still: Its my wheels that makes the earth go round.
oSo many places not enough CCs
oThe world is getting smaller see it before it is all gone.
oNomadic by nature, overlander by choice
oShangri-La is just over the next hill… I just know it…

Quantity not necessarily Quality
A few more...
Get your rubber HUMMin’.
Let your Dreams lead to Dust. Ride.
The road less travelled makes all the difference
Lose sight of things. Travel.
I can’t not get there if I don’t know where I’m going.
I ain’t lost. I’m just riding the world.
Get Lost. Ride the world.
I ain’t been everywhere. Yet.
I ain’t been everywhere, but I’m going.
I ain’t been everywhere, but I’ve got a waypoint for it.
What’s another border crossing? Ride.
Horizon’s Unlimited. One border crossing at a time.
On a bike, some roads aren’t…
Change your Horizon. Ride the World
Hit the Refresh key. Ride.
Twist yourself into a new perspective. Ride
It isn’t far if you go. Ride.
A motorcycle and a trip. Love in motion.
I don’t have time to not ride.
Life can have twists and turns. Beauty eh!
All roads lead to Horizons. Unlimited.
What can you see from a Horizon Unlimited?
Put your feet up. Ride!
The Destination is Death. How we get there is Life. I’m Ridin.
Any place worth going, is worth ridin to.
Meet yourself in another country. Ride!

New to Horizons Unlimited?
New to motorcycle travelling? New to the HU site? Confused? Too many options? It's really very simple - just 4 easy steps!
Horizons Unlimited was founded in 1997 by Grant and Susan Johnson following their journey around the world on a BMW R80G/S.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
