Hello from Surrey, England.
Hi to everyone on the HUBB.
My name is Martin and i live in Surrey, England. I've been riding 34 years and have done several bike trips abroad but only around Europe. But since buying a KLR 650 Tengai i have been thinking of rides to new destinations. Met up with many like minded folk at the 'Adventure Travel Day' at the Ace Cafe, London today. Not sure where or when my first trip will be but i'm sure, though this site, i'll find plenty of ideas.
Bikes; Klr650 Tengai 1990
ZRX1100 1999
Z750 1981

Hi
Hi Martin
Also had a great day at the Ace Cafe and spoke to many interesting people and enjoyed the guest speakers.
Live up near Banbury and moved up from Staines about 10 years ago. My Dad still lives in Egham, so in Surrey usually once a week.
Nice to hear from you and hope you make your trip soon.
Cheers
Chris

Martin! I noticed the Tengai at the Ace - the only Kwak there (if i remember correctly...) . Made a change from the GS Brigade . I see you're a Kwak fan, me too over the years, and also used to run a ZRX11 (green, naturally...). Enjoy HUBBing

Thanks for the welcome guys. Yes indeed that was my red Tengai! Folk there were genuinely interested in it. Really surprised there wasn't more KLR's.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
