Hello from Sydney Australia
Hi all. New here. No plans to travel the world. Well in my head I do but with a wife and 2 teenage daughters it wont happen.
Just love reading about other peoples travels around our globe.
I ride an 94 BMW R100LT... Ross' Motorcycling Blog.: my BMW
I am reading "Two for the Road" at the moment and can't put it down.

Morning Sydney, and please pass on my best wishes to your mate future.
It's a little early in the morning here but as you're in the chair I'll manage a swift pint, thank you and welcome.

Welcome
Ross,
Nice to see your post on HUBB.
One great thing that happens in about February each year is a gathering of HU members somewhere in Oz. The last two years has been at Tintaldra near Albury. A great weekend to meet fellow travellers, take in some talks and slideshows of adventures and just sit and talk with like-minded people. Some even take their families so that is not a barrier either.
Keep a lookout on HUBB for the advertised dates. Book early if you want accommodation as there is usually 100-140 members there and Tintaldra is just a whistle stop with pub and general store on the Murray River. Drop me a line if you need more info.
Cheers for now and hope your enjoyment of the site fulfills your dreams.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
