Hello from Tennessee, USA
Just joined and registered for my first HU meet in VA. Registered, lodging and meal plan done.
I have been riding for more than 50 yrs, and have a stable of BMWs R1250 GSA and S1000XR, Suzuki DR and a Husky 501.
Also built and fly a Vans Aircraft RV10, am a private pilot.
A commercial rated drone pilot and do DSAR, Drone Search and Rescue, teach how to do that around the country.
A COL. US Army still active and serving, an actual combat vet with a CMB, last deployment 2020.
A pulmonologist, Critical Care, and sleep specialist with my own practice.
Creator and Admin on FB groups for GSA, S1000XR, F900/XR and HD Pan Am groups.
What else do you want to know?
Yes I ride every chance I get but looking to retire and travel the world esp Europe. I think I have the right companion for it.

Hi Mani
Welcome along. I think that is the most comprehensive resume I have seen as a first post! However, you don't say whether you can juggle - everything else is covered. What sort of things are you searching for when you do the DSAR?
Well done on getting your first HU meet sorted out - hopefully you will have better luck than I did as I signed up for the 2020 HU meet in the UK which was cancelled, as was 2021 and none are now planned going forward as far as I am aware. I managed to get to a mini-meet though which was fun.
What are your timescales for the European tour and are there any places that you are looking at in particular?

Welcome I think this is the first time I've seen a forum introduction in the form of a CV!
Since you're already active on facebook you might want to look at the HU facebook group, it sees quite different traffic to here.
I hope you enjoy the meetup and your trip to Europe in due course

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
