Hello to all. Newbie from Turkey
I've just found my self here. I have two small bikes,a naked 250 and a chinese built 150cc so called cruiser. I usually travel with my wife but since the baby came we can't find any chance to travel or camp .
We live in Turkey and travelled most parts of it. I see many travellers passing by. If you need a place to stay or fix your bike ı have the tools and a free bed . The wife and I are happy to have guests. I'm on the Mediterranean coast . I live in Mersin and you're all welcome.

Welcome
Welcome indeed. I think you may be taken up on your offer if the rumoured ferry starts from Mersin.
As it happens, me and the boss are heading to walk the Lycian way on Thursday, so I'm hoping it warms up a bit over there.

and what a nice gesture on your first post. I was traveling through Turkey last year and I am hoping to get back there soon.
You will know you are alive now that you have a baby.
Good luck.....enjoy

Welcome to the site it is an excellent resource for information and making contacts. A friend and I passed through your home city a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed our experiences in Turkey; I am looking forward to returning to Turkey in the not too distant future. Do you ever foresee yourself venturing to the chilly north of Europe?

I think north is too cold for me.Our winter weather is the spring or summer in most parts so I usually wander around Mediterranean.. But may be in the future.

Welcome to the forum. Very nice invitation. Turkey seems like a nice country to travel. Capadocie (is that spelled correctly?) is one of my favorites.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
