Hey there from Wyoming, USA
My name is Dave and I have a few years of adventure riding under my belt. I began with a Husqvarna FE350 making a 1000 mile ride down the spine of the rockies all off asphalt. I enjoyed that trip so much I bought a Husky 701 and buildt it for long range riding. After 4000 miles of off road I traded it for a lighter KTM500 which I buildt for the same thing. Didn't get to use it due to a back injury so I just sold that. I'm left with a 2020 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro which I've put 15000 miles on in 2 years. I've done both on and off road trips and have grown to love the bike.
Now that winter has arrived in Wyoming I'll be working on the Tiger improving it for next year's trips. I try to get out of the cold mountain weather during April and May each year. During the past 2 years that's been the New Mexico and Arizona BDRs and an off road trip the length of Baja, MX. Spring of 2023 may see me on the Nevada BDR or possibly a trip to southern NM, across Texas, the north Gulf Coast, down Florida the up the East Coast to the Carolinas then back to Wyoming. The plan is to travel the back roads and stop at as many National Parks as I can. Currently that's planned to be 9 different parks.
My long term goals are a 4-6 week trip to Prudhoe Bay and a month of traveling Iceland. We were there 10 years ago for 7 days, but now we want to travel much more of the island. i say we as my wife wants to join me on some of the trips. So far I've been traveling solo.
