Hi from Liverpool UK
Hi everyone,
I've been reading this fascinating site for quite a while now, picked up quite a few tips, thought it was time that I introduced myself.
I haven't done much in the way of bike travel apart from jaunts around the UK and a couple of weeks solo doing a circuit of Germany and Austria last summer that seemed quite and undertaking at the time.
Much as I would love to do a big trip, at the moment time and family responsibilities prevent such an undertaking so I try do what I can whenever I can. Am off to the Dragon Rally in Wales this year as a bit of a primer towards a plan to visit the Elefantreffen at some point.
Current bikes: Honda C90, Yam XJ600N
Polo

Hi
Hi Polo
Welcome to the site, as I'm fairly new to it as well and find it very useful and friendly.
Looking forward to getting along to one of the HU meets that they have from time to time, as these are my kind of people.
Ride safe.
Cheers
Chris

Hello Polo,
Look for the Black Bonneville-Ural outfit with the cocktail cabinet at the Dragon and come say hello. There'll be a few people about who can tell tall tales about the Elefant and similar.

Cheers chaps!
I haven't decided what I'm going on as yet, but probably the C90. It's good in the mud!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
