I'm new to this sight and quite new to adventure riding.
I've been riding motorcycles since I was young but buying a Suzuki DL1000 in 2014 opened up a whole new world of adventure for me, I absolutely love it.
I've canoed and camped in Northern Ontario for the last thirty years so traveling by motorcycle and tenting it is going to be very exciting, I can't wait for the good weather to get here.
Last summer I traveled throughout Northern Ontario allot on my DL, tenting it along the way. I made it up as far as James Bay and over to Thunder Bay, it ended up being around two weeks of travel in total.
I'm planning to head out East this summer from Northern Ontario, through Quebec and into Newfoundland/Labrador leaving mid June and hopefully travel back through PEI and Nova Scotia, solo, I'm figuring around a 6 week trip.
I'm a bit of a nervous Nellie and find the thought of this more than a little nerve racking but I'm want to do this, lol.
I'm totally amazed with the stories and the adventures people have shared on this sight. Your an amazing bunch of people.
How cool it would be to connect with and meet new people on here and maybe end up meeting and having coffee along the way.
Traveling the world on motorcycle, now there's living a dream, wow, maybe some day.
Don't be shy, say hi, I look forward to hearing from you.
Any tips on traveling in these areas, places I don't want to miss, where I could pitch a tent, travel tips and that sort of thing would be greatly appreciated.
Wish me luck, all the best.
Bruce
