Hi from Wiltshire, England
Hi all,
I've been trawling the HUBB for hints and tips for a couple of months now so figured it was about time I joined up and introduced myself.
I've done various trips around on various modes of transport including riding my Suzuki Bandit 600 solo from the UK to Norway and back the week after I passed my bike test! It's safe to say I caught the bug.
Currently planning my first big trip from the UK to Australia, setting off in September on my newly purchased 2001 Suzuki DRZ 400S.
Cheers,
James

Welcome James, I’m just down the road in Bristol.
Sounds like a good trip you have coming up, I’m sure you’ll get plenty of insight here.
Cheers
Andy

Thanks
Currently attempting a carb rebuild on the DRZ (I'm no mechanic but trying to learn, forums and youtube are currently my best friend!). And my other bike (BMW F800S) is at the garage with gearbox issues...
But once I'm back on the road I'm planning a shakedown trip up to Scotland some time in August, so could be a good chance to meet up with some people on route.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
